WILMINGTON — Padua Academy has announced that Lindsay LoPilato Brown will be the next athletic director at the all-girls school and Lauren DiSabatino the head varsity volleyball coach. The announcements were made Friday afternoon.
The women replace Angel Payne, who left the school this spring after 11 years serving in both positions.
Brown is the general manager of the Hockessin Soccer Club/Delaware Rush, a nonprofit youth organization with approximately 2,000 players between the ages of 3-19. She is a graduate of Padua and has been a member of the school’s coaching staff since 2004. She has been the junior varsity soccer coach and an assistant at the varsity level.
DiSabatino has been a member of Padua’s coaching staff for eight years as an assistant for the freshman and varsity teams and the junior varsity coach. She has taught health and physical education at the school since 2008 and also has been the assistant athletic director during that time.
