A busy pre-Easter week awaits girls sports

The girls’ spring seasons are starting to heat up, and so is the weather. This week, there are a few top-10 showdowns.
Softball
Monday
Concord (2-1) at Padua (4-2), 3:45 p.m. at Midway Softball Complex. The eighth-ranked Pandas tough stretch continues as it faces a good Raiders team. The Pandas are coming off a nice road win at Charter.

Archmere (3-3) at Baldwin (Pa.) (3-2), 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday
Charter (3-1) at Archmere, 3:45 p.m. The Auks have won three of four but face a Force team that is looking to rebound from a tough loss to Padua. 
St. Elizabeth (3-2) at Conrad (1-3), 3:45 p.m. The Vikings look for their fourth win in a row as they travel to the Red Wolves’ den.
Delmarva Christian (5-1) at St.. Thomas More (0-4), 4 p.m. The Ravens look for the home upset for their first win of the season.
St. Mark’s (3-3) at Padua, 4 p.m. at Midway Softball Complex. The Spartans look for the road upset against their rival. The Spartans and Pandas have been scoring a lot of runs on their last few games.
Wednesday
St. Mark’s at Christiana (1-3), 4 p.m.
North Dorchester at Ss. Peter and Paul, 4 p.m. at Talbot County Community Center
 
Lacrosse

Padua (2-0) at St. Mark’s (5-1), 4 p.m. The ninth-ranked Pandas travel to St.. Marks to face the No. 3 Spartans and look to remain unbeaten in the season while the Spartans seek another top-10 win.
Caravel (3-2) at Archmere (3-1), 5 p.m. No. 5 Archmere hosts the sixth-ranked Buccaneers in an important game for both teams. The Auks look for fourth win in a row.
Tuesday
Worcester Prep at Ss. Peter and Paul, 4 p.m.
Wednesday
Padua at Friends (2-3), 4 p.m.
Salisbury at Ss. Peter and Paul, 4 p.m.
Polytech (4-1) at Archmere, 5 p.m. The fourth-ranked Panthers look for a road win against the Auks in another top-five lax battle.
 
Soccer
Monday
Ursuline (6-1) at Middletown (5-1), 3:30 p.m. The Raiders, ranked seventh in Division II, faces a tough road test against the fifth-ranked team in Division I in a key soccer match. soccerThe Raiders will have a 17-day break after this contest and would like a win heading into the break.
St.. Mark’s (0-4) at Sanford (1-2-1), 4 p.m. The Spartans look for their first win of the year as they travel to a Warriors team that is looking to bounce back from a loss to Ursuline.
Tuesday
Archmere (5-1) at St.. Elizabeth (4-1), 3:45 p.m. The fifth-ranked Auks travel to the Vikings looking for their sixth straight win. The Vikings look for the home upset of their rival.
Wednesday
Padua (2-2-1) at Appoquinimink (5-0), 3:30 p.m. The Pandas lost twice this past weekend to two teams that were ranked in the top 10 in the nation. The Jags are ranked fourth in the state in Division I and look for the home upset against the top-ranked Pandas
St. Elizabeth at St. Mark’s, 3:45 p.m.
