City Deanery schedule for Triduum and Holy Thursday Church visitation

The following is the schedule for services, Stations of the Cross and Masses in the City Deanery during the Triduum:

 

Holy Thursday Masses

  • Cathedral of St. Peter, 6th and West Streets, Wilmington: 7 p.m., Bishop Malooly presiding
  • Christ Our King, 28th and Madison Streets, Wilmington: 6:30 p.m.
  • St. Ann, Gilpin Ave. and Union St., Wilmington: 7 p.m.
  • St. Anthony, 9th and Dupont Streets, Wilmington: 7 p.m.
  • St. Thomas the Apostle, 4th St. and Bancroft Pkwy.: 7 p.m.
  • St. Elizabeth, Cedar and Clayton Streets, Wilmington: 7 p.m.
  • St. Hedwig, Linden and S. Harrison Streets, Wilmington: 7 p.m. (Tenebrae at 10 p.m. in the Chapel)
  • St. Paul, 4th and Jackson Streets, Wilmington: 7 p.m.
  • St. Joseph, 1012 N. French St., Wilmington: 7 p.m.

Holy Thursday church visitation

On Holy Thursday, you are invited to observe the traditional pilgrimage by visiting all of the churches of the City Deanery. The churches will be open as follows: Cathedral until 9 p.m.; Christ Our King until 10 p.m.; St. Ann until 11 p.m.; St. Anthony until 11 p.m.; St. Thomas until 10 p.m.; St. Elizabeth until 11 p.m., St. Hedwig until 10 p.m.; St. Paul until 11 p.m.; and St. Joseph until 9 p.m. A Tenebrae Service will be held at 10 p.m in the lower chapel at St. Hedwig’s.

  • St. Ann, Gilpin Ave. and Union St., Wilmington: 3 p.m. service, 7 p.m. Stations of the Cross
