No. 4 Caesar Rodney vs. No. 1 Sallesianum, approximately 8 p.m. at Appoquinimink. The Sals beat the Riders, 15-5, on April 26. They won in the first two rounds easily, while the Riders narrowly escaped with a win in the first round.

Saturday

The finals will be Saturday at a site and time to be determine. Look for an early afternoon start to avoid a conflict with baseball.

Girls soccer

With the weather postponing two games last week the schedule has been changed.

Wednesday

Newark vs. Padua, 6 p.m. at Caravel. The Pandas, ranked No. 2, and Yellow Jackets’ Division I first-round game was postponed from last Thursday because of weather.

Friday/Monday

It’s a quick turnaround for the winner, as the Division I semifinals are set for Friday at a site and time to be determined. The Padua-Newark winner meets Sussex Tech, while Charter takes on Caesar Rodney in the other match. The final will be Monday at Smyrna High School, with the time to be announced.

The Division II semis will also be Friday, with the time and sites to be announced. No. 1 Archmere will face the winner of today’s Sanford-Wilmington Friends game. The other match is Caravel vs. St. Georges. The final is also Monday at Smyrna with a time to be determined.

Golf

The high school championship starts today and finishes up tomorrow at Maple Dale Country Club in Dover. Salesianum and Archmere both have a shot at the title, along with Tower Hill, Caesar Rodney and Tatnall.
