Soccer playoffs begin today, while football reaches end of regular season

The boys’ postseason starts today in soccer, while football’s regular season ends this weekend with some rivalry games.

Thursday

Salesianum (8-1) vs. St. Mark’s (4-5), 7:30 p.m., Delaware Stadium. Throw the records out when these rivals meet. The Spartans are coming off a tough loss to St. Elizabeth last week, while Sallies trounced Sussex Tech, 42-7.

Saturday

St. Elizabeth (4-5) at Archmere (5-4), noon. Both teams are coming off upset wins. Archmere defeated previously undefeated Delaware Military Academy, 17-2, for its fourth straight win. St. E’s held off St. Mark’s, 33-31.
