Cathy Weaver, former Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Wilmington, returned home to the Lord on Saturday, July 25, after a long battle with cancer.
Mrs. Weaver served as Principal of Immaculate Heart of Mary School (1998-2003), Associate Superintendent of Schools (2003-2007), and Superintendent of Schools (2007-2012).
In addition to her time in Catholic school education, Mrs. Weaver served in other positions in education in the Wilmington community and as a healthcare executive. She retired as Program Director at the Diocese of Wilmington Marydale Retirement Village.
She also gave innumerable hours of volunteer service to various charitable organizations and those in need.

Monday, August 3 – Visitation at the Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Road, Wilmington, DE, 10:30-11:30am
Monday, August 3 – Mass of Christian Burial, Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Road, Wilmington, DE, 11:30am
