Saint Mark’s High School welcomed 231 alumni on May 31. Bishop Koenig presided.
The student speakers were Aidan Venters and Cadesh Odou.
Patrick Hogate earned the Ronald R. Russo Memorial Award for Academic Excellence, and he merited departmental honors in creative and critical writing, science and social studies.
The Rachael M. Ali Award was presented to Sarah McMann. It recognizes leadership, excellence and devotion to Saint Mark’s High School. John Paul Klemas received the Bishop Michael Hyle Award for Outstanding Service.
Alex Ralsten received the Mark Weaver Award, which recognizes a student who reaches his or her academic potential, has a positive impact on the class and school community, participates in co-curricular activities, and demonstrates a sense of character, excellence, humility and integrity
Departmental honors were awarded to Erica Poch, art; Abigail Ehemann, drama; Cassidy Powell, music; Caroline Benham, English; Riley Fanjoy, critical analysis of literature and theology; Emma Nolan, mathematics, statistics and physics; Kirah Irani, Spanish; Jamie-Pear Yimnai Fankmeni, French.

Also, John Hartnett, biology; Adrianna Jackson, chemistry; Emma Fausnaugh, behavioral science; Amambo Ajua-Alemanji, law and economics; Bryson Bowser, American history.
Saint Mark’s graduates were accepted into 79 colleges and universities in 26 different states.
