St. Elizabeth opens the 2024 football season at home against Archmere on Sept. 7 with a roster that mixes experience in a few key spots with plenty of youth. The roster is evenly split, with half being juniors and seniors, the other half freshmen and sophomores.

One of the sophs is quarterback Cole Andrews, who returns as the quarterback with a year of starting experience under his belt. He’ll be handing off to a pair of seniors, Ne’Hemiah Hamilton and Ryan McCormac, while working in some new receivers. The Vikings figure to be solid at linebacker and in the defensive backfield on the other side of the ball.

St. Elizabeth, members of Class 1A, are playing up twice this season, including in the opener, but the rest of the schedule is composed of fellow 1A members. They’ll travel to Indian River, and they have both of last year’s finalists, Wilmington Charter and Tatnall, on the road.
