Organizers of the Oct. 5 Eucharistic Congress in the Diocese of Wilmington announced a dedicated family space at the event at the convention center in Ocean City, Md.
This specialized area is designed with the youngest attendees in mind, catering to children up to age 12, said Dan Pin, director of the Office for Catholic Youth, Young Adult, and Family Ministry.
The family space will offer an assortment of faith-based videos, activities and interactive games designed to enrich the spiritual lives of children in a fun and accessible way while offering a break from the schedule of the congress.
“Understanding the importance of family participation in faith activities, we require that at least one parent to accompany their child at all times within the family space,” Pin said. “This stipulation ensures a safe and nurturing environment for all, promoting a shared spiritual experience that families can carry with them beyond the event.
“We look forward to welcoming your family to this special space dedicated to our youngest participants.”
The cost for the event is $35 per person, with the total capped at $140 per household. More information is available at www.cdow.org/eucharisticcongress.
