Trinette Stillman, principal of Most Blessed Sacrament School in Berlin, Md., for the last three years, will step down at the end of the current academic year. The announcement was made by the Office for Catholic Schools on April 16.
According to superintendent of schools Lou De Angelo, Most Blessed Sacrament has continued to grow in faith, academics and service under Stillman’s leadership. He added that enrollment and recruitment for next year are well underway, finances are solid, and work continues on the school building.
The Catholic Schools Office and the eight pastors who parishes support Most Blessed Sacrament will form a search committee to find the next principal, De Angelo said. The process of finding a new principal generally takes six to eight weeks, he added.
Stillman came to Most Blessed Sacrament in 2021-22 after a year in the Cape Henlopen School District. She taught in Virginia and Wisconsin before that. A native of Michigan, she graduated from Michigan State University.
