The students had lessons, attended daily Mass, prayed the rosary and had time for some fun in between at the all-day religious education camp under the auspices of Father Michael Darcy, pastor, and numerous other instructors during the week.
Everyone attended Mass Thursday for the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord.
The kids studied and took tests with questions such as “What is a parable?” “What is the Markan Secret?” and “Why did it take the Crucifixion for somebody to see that Jesus was the son of God?”
The boys and girls also had various ecclesial lessons during the five-day camp. They also studied the sacraments and the rites of Mass.
The studies are in preparation for the sacraments.
