Our Lenten Journey, March 7, 2025

Saint John Paul II served the church as pope for 27 years, and left a legacy of encyclicals, letters and memorable thoughts on the love of God. An extraordinary mystic, he was canonized April 27, 2014. On today’s Lenten Journey, we reflect on the wisdom of this 20th century saint regarding forgiveness and human nature.

Join The Dialog again this year on Our Lenten Journey. Each day, we will bring you a thought to start your morning — a quote from a saint, a passage from scripture, or thoughts from theologians — along with a links to each day’s readings and other Lent-related topics.
