Louis De Angelo and the Diocese of Wilmington shared center stage at the National Catholic Education Association convention in Cincinnati during the first week of April.
De Angelo, superintendent of schools for the diocese, was one of three superintendents nationwide to be named winner of the Lead. Learn. Proclaim Award.
Joining him at the national event were members of his family and people from the Catholic Schools Office, Christ the Teacher Catholic School and St. John the Beloved School.
The NCEA and its membership departments recognize the countless professional individuals, organizations and students that are ambassadors of Catholic education. It provides award opportunities to express accolades for their dedication and support.
