WILMINGTON — St. Elizabeth hung with MOT Charter into the second half of their field hockey game on Oct. 21, but the Mustangs found the answers offensively and went on to a 6-0 victory at Chase Fieldhouse.

The Vikings picked up their first shot early in the second as the opportunities increased for both teams, but the game remained scoreless until late in the half.
The Mustangs set up for a penalty corner, and Kierstin Eden tipped a shot by Makenzie Mical past Frederique for the 1-0 lead Frederique kept the margin at a goal with two big saves in the final two minutes of the half.
The Mustangs earned five penalty corners in the third without scoring on any of them, but Mariela Hilario found the net on a turnaround shot halfway through the third. Mical scored on a rebound after a diving stop by the Vikings, extending the lead.
Eden scored once and Madison Dallas twice in the fourth to close out the scoring.
