Two sports hold championships this week, while basketball regular season ends

The winter season concludes for two sports next weekend, while basketball wraps up the regular portion of the schedule.

Boys

Basketball

Tuesday

Archmere (12-7) at Brandywine (3-16), 5:30 p.m.

Polytech (2-15) at St. Mark’s (14-5), 7:15 p.m.

Concord (9-10) at Salesianum (10-9), 7:30 p.m.

 

Wrestling

Friday-Saturday

Individual state championships will be held at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes. The first round is on Friday at 3 p.m., and tickets are $5. The second and third rounds are Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. Tickets are $6 for round two and $7 for the final. They are available at Cape Henlopen starting an hour before the round begins.

Ursuline (6-11) at Dover (9-9), 7 p.m.

Tuesday

St. Thomas More (16-3) at Conrad (14-5), 5 p.m. St. Thomas More wraps up its regular season with a trip to New Castle County for a second straight battle against a highly ranked foe. Both the Ravens and the Red Wolves are known for their strong starting lineups. Staying out of foul trouble will be a key for each team.

St. Elizabeth (16-3) at Padua (11-8), 7:15 p.m.

Wednesday

St. Mark’s (7-12) at Sussex Tech (14-5), 5 p.m.

Ursuline at Gloucester Catholic (N.J.), 7 p.m.

 

Swimming

Saturday

The girls’ swimming and diving state championships will be held Saturday at the Rawstrom Natatorium at the University of Delaware beginning at 11 a.m. The boys will hold their championship meet at Rawstrom at 6 p.m. Separate tickets must be purchased for each event.
