- In less than a month, Catholics will gather in Ocean City, Md. for the Diocesan Eucharistic Congress set for Saturday, Oct. 5. Join other faithful from around the Diocese to deepen your faith and fellowship and connect with Jesus in the Eucharist. There will be a ministry fair, and speakers in breakout sessions tailored to various interests and age groups. - On Sept. 14, there will be memorial services to observe the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children — at Cathedral Cemetery on Sept. 14 at 8 a.m., Holy Child Parish on Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. and Holy Cross Cemetery on Sept. 14 at 10 a.m. For details, go to thedialog.org/datebook-1/

- Golfers should register now for the annual CYO Joseph A. McNesby Jr. Golf Outing on Sept. 18 at Deerfield Golf Club. The day starts at 10:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at noon, and auction/dinner at 5:30 p.m. $200 per golfer, with an additional $30 tournament specials. Sponsorships are also being accepted. - On Sept. 20, from 6:15-8:30 p.m. you’re invited to “The Gift” Seminar at Resurrection Church, 3000 Videre Drive Wilmington. The program continues for 6 weeks on Friday nights until Oct. 25. Dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m. each week, program at 7 p.m. DVD presentations will be given by gifted speakers and discussion will be facilitated in small groups. Registration fee $25. - On Sept. 21, Good Shepherd will host its annual Golf Tournament at Furnace Bay Golf Course in Perryville. Sponsorship opportunities are available. $125 per player. - On Thursdays from Sept. 24-Nov. 12 at 10 a.m and Sundays, Sept. 22-Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m. Corpus Christi Parish will host the group study program “Who Am I to Judge?” in the parish gathering area, at 903 New Rd., Wilmington. The rogram explores the classical view of morality and difficult questions that face our culture, featuring teachings of Edward Sri. - On Sept. 27, at 6 & 7:30 p.m., author Philip Campbell will speak at IHM School Hall, 4701 Weldin Rd., Wilmington. At 6 p.m., Campbell will present Homeschooling History at Each Grade Level, geared toward homeschooling parents and at 7:30, The Continuing Legacy of the Reformation in the United States. - Later this month, St. Margaret of Scotland Church is hosting the Fifth Annual Outdoor Marketplace on Sept. 28 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come look for treasures, gifts and delicious concessions provided by various crafters, vendors, flea marketers and the church’s Activities Committee. This rain or shine event will be held in the parking lot of St. Margaret of Scotland Church, 2431 Frazer Road, Newark.
- Also on Sept. 28, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. the Diocese of Wilmington Annual Marian Pilgrimage will take place at Holy Spirit Church, 12 Winder Rd., New Castle. Keynote speaker is Fr. Sebastian White, OP, editor of Magnificat magazine. The Pilgrimage begins with morning Mass at 10 a.m. and concludes with the Vigil Mass at 4 p.m. Bishop Koenig will preside. In addition to Father White’s presentation, the pilgrimage will also include confessions, the Rosary, and Eucharistic Adoration. All are welcome. More information, www.cdow.org/marianpilgrimage/
- On Sept. 29, be sure to check out Mount Aviat’s Annual Roast Beef Dinner, 399 Childs Road, Childs, Md. (Just minutes from Newark.) The menu includes our delicious roast beef with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes, and of course a delicious array of desserts.
