Catholic author J.R.R. Tolkein is famous for his “Lord of the Rings” stories — full of grace, sacrifice, redemption and clear boundaries between good and evil. Tokein took his faith very seriously, and had a deep love for the Eucharist. In this time of Eucharistic Revival, the words of Tolkein remind us what a gift the Eucharist is on our Lenten Journey — and every day of our lives.

Join The Dialog again this year on Our Lenten Journey. Each day, we will bring you a thought to start your morning — a quote from a saint, a passage from scripture, or thoughts from theologians — along with a links to each day’s readings and other Lent-related topics.
