Veteran educator Karen T. Marx named interim principal at Most Blessed Sacrament School in Ocean Pines, Md.

Karen T. Marx, a longtime educator on the Lower Shore, has been named the interim principal at Most Blessed Sacrament School in Ocean Pines, Md., for the 2024-25 academic year, Lou De Angelo, superintendent of schools for the Diocese of Wilmington, announced June 25.

She succeeds Trinette Stillman.

Marx has a degree in elementary education from Towson University and a master’s in school administration from Salisbury University. From 2003-23, she was an assistant principal or principal at Ocean City, Buckingham, Snow Hill and Showell elementary schools. In addition, she has been involved in faith formation and serves as coordinator of religious education at St. John Neumann Parish in Ocean Pines.

 

Marx will begin at Most Blessed Sacrament on July 8.

According to De Angelo, the search for a permanent successor will continue.
