Many talented people have lost their jobs because of the coronavirus pandemic. Today’s Deed: If you know someone who is unemployed, offer to help with a written recommendation, or help them spruce up their resume and cover letter. People are often too humble or can’t be objective about themselves; an outsider could help them put their best foot forward. Also, if you know someone who is currently hiring, see if you can facilitate a connection.
