When you approach the confessional, know this, that I Myself am waiting there for you. I am only hidden by the priest, but I Myself act in your soul.
Here the misery of the soul meets the God of mercy. Tell souls that from this fount of mercy souls draw graces solely with the vessel of trust. If their trust is great, there is no limit to My generosity.”

“Divine Mercy in My Soul” is based on the diary of St. Faustina Kowalska, Polish nun and mystic. A twentieth-century saint, St. Faustina was the founder of the devotion to the Divine Mercy; the feast is celebrated the Sunday after Easter. Today’s reflection is based on one of the many visions that St. Faustina had of Jesus, offering the idea of finding God’s mercy through confession.
