Our Lenten Journey, March 23, 2022

650

Today’s reflection:

“Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if one has a grievance against another; as the Lord has forgiven you, so must you also do.” – Colossians 3:13

Simple guidance from St. Paul’s letter to the Colossians, which includes forgiveness as one of many virtues that Christians should emulate. The passage reminds us that as forgiveness comes from the Lord to us, we must in turn, offer it to others.
