Saints Peter & Paul students at the elementary and high school campuses in Easton, Md., welcomed Bishop Koenig and Lou DeAngelo, diocese superintendent of schools, to the parish church March 5 for the annual Bishop’s Mass.

Students served as ushers, readers and altar servers.

Campus Philip Cheung commented, “It was quite encouraging seeing so many young people being reverent and respectful in church and to each other,” said Campus Minister Philip Cheung. “It was also a joy to have our bishop visit with our students. We pray for his ministry.”

High school Principal Scott Wilson said, “Bishop Koenig’s wonderful homily reminded us to fill up our hearts with peace, love, and joy, and to use it to impact others in our community. I was very proud of our students, our middle school choir who sang beautifully, and the sign of peace was really nice. It was a special day at Saints Peter & Paul.”
