Students from Diocese of Wilmington will participate in 2021 National Catholic Youth Conference

1068

Students from the Diocese of Wilmington are taking part this weekend in the 2021 National Catholic Youth Conference, which is being held through a combination of live and virtual presentations with prerecorded and live sessions on Nov. 20.

Dan Pin, the diocesan director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, said he did not have an exact number of people who have registered, but they were expecting 15-20 participants. One of the sites hosting the event is St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Lewes.

The event is free, although preregistration is required.

A partial list of topics from the conference includes “My (Continuing) Journey to Christ”; “Heaven, Hell and Hot Topics”; “Trusting a God We Cannot See”; “Do I Really Belong Here?”; and “Faith, Science, and the Gift of Wonder.” The first one listed, “My Continuing Journey to Christ,” will be presented live at St. Jude’s by Aviah Stillman, the parish’s youth minister. The others have been prerecorded in Indianapolis.

To register for the session at St. Jude’s, go to www.stjudelewes.org or call (302) 644-7413.
