Schweizer leads St. Mark’s with six as girls lacrosse defeats Caesar Rodney

DOVER – Kendra Schweizer scored six times, and Clare Estes had two goals and four assists as St. Mark’s girls lacrosse team kept rolling with an 18-1 victory over Caesar Rodney on April 14 at Scott D. Miller Stadium at Wesley College. The teams met as part of the annual Dave Reynolds Lacrosse Festival, and the Spartans sure were feeling festive as this one progressed.

Riders keeper Jasmin Hall was on point, stopping three Spartans shots right off the bat, and that kept CR in the contest for the first part of the opening half. St. Mark’s – ranked second in the state by 302Sports.com – owned the time of possession, and that eventually paid dividends. On the first free-position opportunity of the afternoon, Meg Noonan opted to turn away from the net instead of shoot, and she dished to Schweizer.
