The final week of the regular season has arrived for girls sports. Some teams are assured of postseason play and are jockeying for position, while others are still battling to be eligible for their respective state tournament. The lacrosse, Division II soccer and softball state tournaments begin this week, while Division I soccer opens postseason play next week.
Lacrosse
Monday
St. Mark’s (14-0) at Concord (8-6), 3:15 p.m. The Spartans can close out an umblemished regular season before beginning the pursuit of a return trip to the state title game.
Ursuline (12-2) at Wilmington Charter (7-7), 3:30 p.m.
Tatnall (9-5) at Archmere (11-3), 4 p.m. The Auks wrap up the regular season against the high-scoring Hornets. The teams will be looking to head into the postseason coming off a quality win.

Monday
St. Elizabeth (2-9-1) at William Penn (9-4-1), 3:45 p.m.
Tuesday
Tri-State Christian (Md.) at St. Mark’s (7-7), 3:45 p.m.
Tower Hill (12-0) at Ursuline (7-6-1), 3:45 p.m. The Raiders end the season against Division II’s best team. Ursuline has won four straight and six of its last seven to climb into postseason contention. They have tested themselves against several quality opponents.
St. Elizabeth vs. Padua (13-1), 5 p.m. at Baynard Stadium
Archmere (10-4) at Middletown (9-4-1), 6:30 p.m. The Auks play their final game before the Division II state tournament against the defending Division I state champs. Archmere’s prolific strikers, including Dara Dawson, Anna Garcia and Maddie Law, face the daunting task of getting shots past Cavaliers keeper Taylor Wolf.

Monday

St. Thomas More (2-7) at Tome (Md.), 4 p.m.
Padua (10-6) at Polytech (9-7), 4:15 p.m.
Archmere (7-10) at Brandywine (4-11), 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday
Conrad (8-9) at St. Elizabeth, 3:45 p.m.
Wilmington Charter (11-6) at Padua, 3:45 p.m. at Midway Softball Complex. Padua hosts the Force as its regular season comes to a close. The Pandas saw their six-game winning streak come to an end last week, so they will be looking to right the ship as the tournament looms.
