Padua Academy students, staff, families, alumnae and friends flocked to Frawley Stadium on June 18 for Padua Night at the Wilmington Blue Rocks baseball game.
The evening began with 2014 Padua graduate and current softball assistant coach Nicolette Sabatina throwing out the first pitch. Brielle Smith, a member of the Class of 2027, performed “God Bless America.”
During the seventh-inning stretch, the Padua section took part in “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.” Joshua Thaler, partnership activation coordinator for the Blue Rocks, told the group they were the loudest section in the stadium.
