Catholic Charities’ Seton Center offers full month of programming on Lower Shore in February

Seton Center, a multi-purpose service center in Princess Anne, Md., run by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Wilmington, has a full month of activities and opportunities in February.

Next week, the center will offer healthy families programming on the 12th and 14th. The Tidal Health Wellness Van will be on site on Feb. 20, and the Lower Shore Workforce Alliance will be at the center on Feb. 26 from 9 a.m.-noon. The alliance helps with career planning and opportunities.

Seton Center also has a thrift store that is open Tuesday-Thursday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. For the month of February, jackets and coats will be 50% off. Also, the thrift store will be open on Feb. 17 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. A Spanish-speaking volunteer is available during thrift store hours.

The food share program will resume on Feb. 22. Anyone who wishes to participate should stop by the center before that date to sign up. The cost is $5.

For those who would like to donate to the Seton Center, the wish list for February includes dish detergent, cleaning pads and sponges, and cans of soup and sauces. The center serves more than 350 families each month.

Seton Center’s office and pantry are closed each day for lunch from noon-1 p.m. The thrift store is open during that hour. It is located at 30632 Hampden Ave., Princess Anne.
