‘Longest night’ celebration helps with donations for homeless at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington

On the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, Saint Francis Hospital honored and remembered those struggling with homelessness in the Wilmington community.

They celebrated the night Dec. 21 by lighting luminaries around the perimeter of the hospital, and collecting hats, gloves and mittens to be donated to those in need.
