For the fourth year, St. Edmond’s Academy was one of the top supporters of Turkeython 2021 at a Nov. 22 live event that collected food and donations to benefit the Ministry of Caring before Thanksgiving.
“Every year, the SEA community comes together to make a difference for so many at Thanksgiving and we are always truly touched to see ‘generosity’ piled high, yet again, in the Great Hall,” said Jill Fella, St. Edmond’s director of marketing, social media and communications.
“This year, we donated hundreds of pounds of food, more than 50 turkeys (and two hams) and with an amazing donation from our friends at Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP, we are thrilled to give $9,000 to the Ministry of Caring Inc.”
Turkeython is coordinated annually by Mix 99.5, WJBR-FM, a Beasley Broadcasting station.
