Corrected times for St. Vincent de Paul Mass, medal of merit ceremony

The Mass and dinner for the St. Vincent de Paul Society on Sunday, Sept. 25, will begin at 2 p.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption in Hockessin. The diocesan medal of merit awards, scheduled for the following Sunday, Oct. 2, will start at 3 p.m. at St. Joseph Church in Middletown.

The times listed on the bishop’s schedule in the Sept. 16 print edition of The Dialog are incorrect.

Bishop honors 91 parish stalwarts with Medal of Merit

Ninety-one people were awarded the diocesan Medal of Merit at a ceremony on Oct. 4 at St. John the Beloved Church in Wilmington. Bishop Malooly congratulated the recipients, who were nominated by their pastors for their dedication and service to their parishes.

Each parish may nominate an individual or couple — more than one if the parish has a mission church. Read more »
