Sisters, priests and brothers have lived more than 700 years in service to the Church

 

The following religious are celebrating jubilees this year in the Diocese of Wilmington.

Bishop Malooly was the main celebrant of a 4 p.m. Mass to honor them on April 4 at Church of the Holy Child in Wilmington.

Franciscan jubilarians include several who served in Wilmington diocese

ASTON, Pa. — Several women religious who served in the Diocese of Wilmington were among 17 jubilarians who marked 50, 70, 75 and 80 years of religious life on June 12 with the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia. During a liturgy at Our Lady of Angels Convent, the sisters – with 1,065 years of combined service – renewed their vows of poverty, celibacy and obedience. Read more »

18 religious in the diocese celebrate jubilees

 

Bishop Malooly was the main celebrant of a May 5  Mass at the Church of the Holy Child in Wilmington to honor men and women religious during their jubilee year. The 18 religious have given a total of 1,010 years of service to the church.
