Ursuline Academy kicked off the 2023-24 high school musical season with its production of Amelie (teen edition) at the school in Wilmington the last weekend of October.

The remainder of Catholic school musicals for the high schools in the Diocese of Wilmington are scheduled for the spring.

Amélie is an young woman who lives quietly in the world but loudly in her mind. She covertly improvises small but surprising acts of kindness that bring joy and mayhem.

But when a chance at love comes her way, Amélie realizes that to find happiness she’ll have to risk everything and say what’s in her heart.
