More high-profile action is on tap this week for the various teams, and it’s not limited to the basketball court. There is something to see for fans of all the winter high school sports.

In wrestling, several teams take a break from tournaments to get dual meets going. Of the four Catholic high schools that offer the sport, just St. Elizabeth has participated in a dual. On Wednesday, the Vikings will host a tri-meet that includes Archmere. Salesianum and Saint Mark’s both have bit matches that night as well. Basketball includes some tantalizing action, particularly for the girls.

Don’t forget to confirm dates and times before making the trip. Schedules are always subject to change.

William Penn (4-2) at Salesianum (4-5), 7:30 p.m. The Sals host for just the second time this season as the Colonials visit Father Birkenheuer Gymnasium. The last time these two teams met, Salesianum defeated Penn for the 2022-23 state championship. Many of the same faces return for both squads, and those in cherry and black will be looking for a measure of revenge.
