Catholic Forum, the radio program/podcast of the Diocese of Wilmington, will begin airing at 1:30 p.m. each Saturday on Relevant Radio 640 beginning Sept. 26.

The move from the 11 a.m. slot is to accommodate Relevant Radio’s expanded weekend programming.

“We are happy to be a part of Relevant Radio 640’s expanded weekend lineup,” said Bob Krebs, diocesan communications director and host/producer of Catholic Forum. “Relevant Radio 640’s 50,000 watt signal reaches literally all of Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The new time-slot is directly after the daily Mass broadcast, and we feel that will bring a new audience of listeners to the program.”

The Sept. 26 program will feature an interview with Father Brian Lewis, pastor of Saint Jude the Apostle Parish in Lewes. Father Lewis will discuss the upcoming diocesan Marian Pilgrimage. The Oct. 3 program will focus on “Respect Life Month” when Molly Sheahan, associate director for Respect Life Advocacy for the Maryland Catholic Conference is the guest. The Oct. 10 program will feature a special presentation of the Rosary by Bishop Malooly and local Catholic school students.

In addition to Relevant Radio 640, the Catholic Forum podcast can be heard online at cdow.org/CatholicForum and on Apple, Spotify and iHeartRadio.

Catholic Forum is one of longest running Catholic radio programs in the United States having debuted in April 1939. It is a production of the Diocese of Wilmington’s Office of Communication.
