A priest knows that he is not alone in his ministry. It is not his ministry to begin with. It is the ministry of Jesus that he entrusted to the church.

There is a relationship between ordained priesthood and the universal priesthood of the baptized. The priesthood is not for the priest alone but for the entire community.
