Students and family members enjoyed time together over lunch and at a book fair Jan. 31 celebrating Catholic Schools Week at Cathedral of St. Peter School in Wilmington.

Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and other family members joined students in the elementary school next to the Cathedral of St. Peter.

Older students made gift bags with prayer cards for visiting members of the community and donors who support the school.

Students gave tours during the week to members of the community who have never been to the school. They also attended Mass at the cathedral.

Also on the schedule was the school community showing its spirit during Student Day and a special lunch planned for all students.

Also planned was bingo in the gym pairing older students with Pre-K and kindergarten students.
