Archmere Academy prepares for second weekend presenting ‘Matilda’ March 1-2 — Photo gallery

It’s the second weekend for musicians and performers at Archmere Academy.

Archmere presented its first slate of shows last weekend and returns again with “Matilda,” March 1-2 at 7 p.m.

The Auks performers will be completing their run as Salesianum School students begin theirs.

Salesianum School: “Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street” by Steven Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler March 1-2 at 7:30 pm, March 3 at 2 p.m., March 8-9 at 7:30 p.m., and March 10 at 2 p.m.. Tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for students/seniors. Tickets can be purchased online here. Salesianum will also perform “Clue,” April 25-28 at 7:30 pm, and ” The Importance of Being Vampyre” May 17-18 at 6 p.m. and May 19 at 2 p.m.

Other shows during the semester include:

St. Mark’s High School: “Beauty and the Beast,” April 19-20 at 7 p.m., and April 21 at 2 p.m. General admission tickets are $10. Tickets for students and seniors are $8.

Saint Elizabeth High School: “The Addams Family,” April 26-27 at 7 p.m., and April 28 at 2 p.m. Ticket information to come.

Saints Peter and Paul High School: “The Outsiders,” a play by S.E. Hinton April 26-27 at 7 p.m., and April 28 at 3 p.m. Tickets for adults are $10, students are $5. Performances will take place in Wilson Auditorium at Saints Peter & Paul High school, 1212 S. Washington Street, Easton, Md. 21601. Tickets are available for purchase at the door.
