It will be a busy week for the various girls athletic programs, with lacrosse having reached the final week of its regular season and the others the last two weeks. Some teams are looking toward postseason positioning, hoping to extend their seasons through the end of the month.

There are a few big games on the docket, including Ss. Peter and Paul’s lacrosse team in the ESIAC championship game Monday evening in Easton, Md. The Sabres have lost just one game this year. In softball, Saint Mark’s has three games this week, including contests against state title contenders Sussex Central on the road and Appoquinimink at home. And the Archmere tennis team battles rival Wilmington Charter.

Don’t forget to confirm dates and times before making the trip. Schedules are always subject to change.
