WILMINGTON – Two of the state’s Division I wrestling powerhouses got together for a matinee on Jan. 26, as Sussex Central traveled to New Castle County to meet Salesianum. The Sals, ranked second in Division I by 302Sports.com, won 10 of the 14 matches to dispatch of the third-ranked Golden Knights, 48-13.
The action started at 145 lbs., where Will Brock (fifth in the state at that weight class, both divisions considered, by 302 Sports) defeated No. 6 Brandon Greelee, 7-6. The other matches went as follows (with the 302 Sports ranking in parentheses):
