The first week of the spring sports season has passed, but many of the teams did not get on to the field last week. That changes starting March 25, with three days of heavy activity, followed by a light schedule as Easter approaches.

Defending lacrosse state champion Salesianum continues its ambitious schedule, with games this week against two nationally ranked opponents. The Sals themselves check in at No. 24 in one national ranking. Saint Mark’s baseball has two games under its belt thus far, and the other Catholic schools will see their first pitches this week.

Pack an extra layer or two if you’re heading out to watch any of these contests, except volleyball, which is played in climate-controlled comfort. Don’t forget to confirm dates and times before making the trip. Schedules are always subject to change.
